This Property is set on Big Pine Lake, but it also has its own small private lake behind making the setting one of a kind. It's only 2 hours north of the twin cities near Brainerd. The fishing is great right off the dock. You can catch Sunnies, Crappies, small mouth Bass, and Northern Pike on Big Pine Lake. The water is about 1 feet at entry and is nice and clear for swimming. There is also a floating raft to swim to. You can bring your own boat; public access is down the road. We have 2 docks. One on the main lake and one on the small lake. Row boat, canoe, and paddle board available to use on the lakes. In addition to the lakes, there is lots of wilderness to explore (30 acres). The cabin is located 5 miles North of Garrison, Minnesota. It is tucked in off the dirt road and is 15 feet from the lake, while on the front deck it appears to be over the water. The lake is about 660 acres. It is a deep spring fed lake that is very clean. it has good numbers of Large mouth bass, Crappies, Walleyes, and some very nice sized Northern Pike. We have a gas grill and a fire pit for evening bon fires. We provide the fuel for both. There is a public boat landing at the other end of the lake and a dock for the kids to fish off, and to tie your boat if you want to bring one along. We furnish a 14' Lund fishing boat a canoe, and a paddle boat for your enjoyment. . There is a public landing for Mille Lac Lake 2 1/2 miles from the cabin. Watch the sunrise over beautiful Mille Lacs Lake. Our year around home is situated on the North west corner of Mille Lacs Lake. The main floor of the home has a large kitchen / dining room that comfortably seats the entire group. The living room has a large TV and plenty of comfortable seats to relax and watch a movie after a day of fun on the water. The master suite is on the main level, as well as the laundry. Go up the stairs to a game room that overlooks the lake and has a poker table, foosball table and high top for playing cards, checkers and chess. Off the game room are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs from the game room is another loft bedroom. A paddle boat, bean bags and games are at the property for guests to use. Our year round cabin is located on the lovely shores of Bay Lake (2300+ acres) a short 2 hour drive north of the Twin Cities in the very private and wooded Echo Bay neighborhood. We have a 3 bedroom/2 bath log cabin plus guest cottage. Our lot features many tall Norway pines and oaks that will transport you immediately to a place of relaxation as you listen to them whistling in the wind while taking in the sunset, enjoying a bonfire, fishing off the dock or swimming off the sandy beach. Our cabin boasts of up north charm with modern amenities and lots of area for playing on land and by sea. Enjoy our backyard watching sunsets on the dock or from the large deck overlooking the lake, swimming area, small sand beach and the bonfire pit. Our front yard is large and flat with plenty of space for yard games between the cabin and guest cottage. The main cabin has a large great room featuring a cobblestone gas fireplace and french door sliders for enjoying the breezes off the lake. The master bedroom has a king bed with a seating area for reading a book or enjoying coffee while overlooking the lake along with an attached master bath including a tiled tub/shower. There are two additional bedrooms with a 3/4 main bathroom. The guest cottage sleeps 3-5 with a kitchenette and full bath from May-September. Echo Bay has a private mowed walking path for our guests to enjoy and is lovely for a morning or evening walk. Bay Lake has wonderful swimming, fishing, boating and is home to Ruttgers Resort and the Lonesome Pine Restaurant & Bar both of which you can boat and dock at for meals or drinks. The main dock is on a sandy point, perfect for swimming, water sports, sun bathing or just enjoying the beautiful lake view and sunsets. The main cabin has a very expansive great room, including a floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace. It is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing in front of the fire. The master bedroom with attached full tiled bath includes a whirlpool tub. The second level is lofted, sleeps 4-5 with a full bath and overlooks the main living area. It is open and airy but windowed off for privacy and quiet sleeping accommodations. The separate guest house sleeps 5-7 and has a full bath. The yard is flat, has shaded and sunny areas and includes a fire pit with chairs to relax and unwind. Firewood is included.

This quiet 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation townhome on Bay Lake is the perfect getaway for family fun, fishing, boating, biking, golfing, watersports, snowsports and so much more. Our townhome is situated on a 26 acre wooded lot on Bay Lake which includes dock access if you’d like to bring your own boat (the launch is just 2 minutes away). This property is under new ownership and we are making lots of improvements if you've stayed here before. We have a newly renovated kitchen with lots of new kitchen accessories making it easy for stay-in dining. Our property also has a well-cared for pool, a pool house with a large indoor whirlpool spa and restroom plus plenty of pool-side seating for lounging and picnics. The pool and spa are open between May 25th and Nov. 1st. On the property, there are also tennis courts (pickle ball), horseshoe pits and a playground area. This three bedroom cabin has an understated charm with over 100 foot of lake front on Sunset lake. This includes use of a 3 bedroom cabin and detached garage. The two main Bedrooms each have private bathrooms and include a shower. Their is also a 1/2 Bath near the kitchen. Bedroom one has a king log bed with memory foam mattress, bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and shower. Bedroom two has a queen size log bed and bathroom with shower and tub. Bedroom three has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom/ twin on top. The four season porch allows for great outdoor feel rain or shine. The cabin has a dock and pontoon lift. The lake has a very basic boat launch area so it stays very quiet compared to big name lakes. Don't let that fool you it still has good fishing and some deep holes. The shoreline is mostly grass held back by rocks. It is about a 1.5 feet over the rocks into 1.5' water. Rocks are softball to football size. The middle of the dock is 4' deep with sand/gravel bottom. End of the dock is about 8' with cabbage weed and small lily pads. The lake is crystal clear water. The cabin is located only 4 miles from the landing on farm island lake. 14 miles from Garrison and 25 miles from Brainard. It's a short 25 min drive down to the Grand Casino on Mille Lacs. We provide two adult kayaks, two children's kayaks and a canoe for you to explore the lake, however please note that there is no public access point for you to bring your own boat. The town of Garrison is only 5 miles away, with a grocery store, a few restaurants, a liquor store, and other businesses. Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge, which offers a waterside dining area, is 12 minutes north. Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is 20 minutes south. Downtown Brainerd is about 20 minutes West, with all it has to offer. This incredible recently remodeled ranch style home is located on 100 acres of private wooded property and has several hundred feet of lakeshore on Sunset Lake. The home and property work great for corporate retreats, off site meetings or family reunions. The house is set back from the lake in a totally secluded area looking out over a large back yard surrounded by thousands of mature pine trees. There are 3-4 miles of private trails through the woods, fields and marshes. Walk up to the field at dusk and you will likely see deer feeding on the grass. At night you will hear the loons calling. The house accommodates up to 11 guests in the summer, 9 in winter, and includes a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, loft, 'Eagles Nest' (small upper bedroom), 1.5 bathrooms, and a sauna—great for families and get-togethers or a peaceful getaway. Note: The lower private bedroom with queen bed is closed in the winter months. 4-wheel drive is required to access the house in winter. Without 4-wheel drive, a 250 ft walk up the hill to the house is required. Main floor: • Master bedroom with king bed, washer and dryer in laundry closet. • Main level bathroom with shower (no bath), two sinks, and electric sauna. • Kitchen with plenty of counter space, cupboard space for dry goods, French press or drip coffee makers. Sliding door with porch off kitchen. Your chef will enjoy an open layout with the dining/living area that allows for interaction and a view of the lake. • Dining area with seating for 6. • Living room area with fireplace. • Large sun room with lots of windows, sofa, chairs, table with seating for 4, TV with Dish network and Wifi through Viasat (Satellite Internet). • Main level deck with large propane grill and patio seating. Second level: • Up the spiral staircase. • Loft area has 2 twin beds. View of lake from second level window. • Through the loft, enter the spacious 2nd level bedroom with 2 twin beds and a queen. Views of lake through the windows. Third Level: • Up spiral staircase from 2nd level bedroom. • Small room, “Eagle’s Nest,” with twin bed and great views of the lake. • Enter rooftop deck through the Eagle’s Next. Lower Private Bedroom (*summer only*): • Has separate entrance from the lower deck. Great view of the lake. • Queen bed and half bathroom. • Couch and TV with Dish Network. Outdoor description: Adjacent to the back deck you will find a slope with some steps up to a hilltop lawn area featuring a fire pit overlooking the lake. Back to the house and around the side deck you will find steps to the lower bedroom deck, and still more stairs to the front lawn area. (There is another entrance to the front lawn from the kitchen deck on the other side of the house.) Down another set of steps landscaped with railroad ties you will find the lake lawn area with a wood swing. Taking a stroll down a mowed path you will find the lakefront area with canoe and kayaks and a small lawn, as well as the dock. From the lawn there is a small entrance to the lake in a break between a boulder wall. The lake bottom is sandy/rocky and good for swimming. There is a 'swimming hole' -type area between the shore and dock. TV and Internet: Dish network with TVs in the sun room and lower private bedroom. WiFi through Viasat Satellite internet. Garage: There is a garage with space for two cars. Boats: A 17 foot canoe and two 10 foot kayaks are provided. We have a 22 ft. pontoon boat available to rent for $550 per stay (available through October 21st). It is a Premier 225 Legend with a 50 hp motor. It is a private lake with no access on the property. No outside boats are allowed on the lake. Accessibility: During winter, a four-wheel drive vehicle is required to climb the steep gravel driveway. Alternative street parking is available at the bottom of the hill, about 250 feet from the house. Area: Nestled among dozens of beautiful lakes the area is famous for, Falconhurst is conveniently located within minutes of Ruttger's resort with golf, gourmet dining, a convenience store, and other entertainment options. Nearby Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area is famous for mountain biking with over 25 miles of riding spread across 800 acres of paved and singletrack trails. Brainerd is a short drive west and Grand Casino Mille Lacs is a short drive south. The towns of Deerwood, Crosby ('antique capital of the Brainerd lakes area'), and Ironton are just minutes away.
